Great Pics & Info On

Goat Hill Park, Our Home Course

Goat Hill Park first began in 1952 and was then the Oceanside Carlsbad Country Club! It was a sporty 9 hole course with a nice practice area and many top notch PGA & LPGA pro's came out and played such as Patty Berg and Babe Zaharias!

Sometime in the 1980's, a PGA pro named Lud Keene acquired the lease for the golf course and at that time made it into a par 66 "short course", it was quite popular as a affordable place to play golf and many golfers got their start at Centre City Golf Course at Goat Hill Park. Lud passed on and the course feel into disrepair until 2014!

Then a group called Goat Hill Partners lead by John Ashworth put together a proposal for the city council and they were awarded the lease. The city council liked the idea of the golf course being a park thus the name Goat Hill Park "world class for the working class"!

After a 3 million dollar renovation the course is more playable and fun than ever. And it is the home of the North County Jr Golf Association. If you want to host an event, wedding, or any kind of party call the Goat and come out and check out the ocean views!!
